A cup of something warm can make a family walk feel like an outing. Metal camping cups need a little care, though: the cup and handle can heat up along with the drink.
Set the cups down before pouring
Find a stable place for the break and let an adult handle the flask. Pour manageable amounts, leave space at the top and allow drinks to cool. A folding handle helps with packing; it does not promise a cool grip.
Keep hot cups away from busy edges, games and passing feet. For children, choose drinkware and serving temperatures suited to them, and bring a suitable alternative if they do not want the shared drink.
The stainless steel cups in Ascent's range are sold individually in several capacities. A group image shows the available sizes, so check the selected option if you are buying enough for the family.
