Buying for a climber who already owns their main kit can be awkward. A small accessory they actually use is often easier to get right than a major piece of equipment chosen as a surprise.
Choose a brush they will recognise
Look at the type of brush they currently carry, or ask which shape they prefer. The Ascent packs contain two brushes, with several head configurations available. The selected option matters more than the photograph showing the whole range.
Check the climbing wall's rules and any local rock-care guidance for outdoor use. Brushes should not be described as suitable for every hold or surface.
A brush pack can fit into a family stocking or accompany another agreed gift. Avoid padding it out with unfamiliar technical climbing equipment simply to make the parcel look more substantial.
