A flask looks generous on the kitchen counter until four people ask for a drink. Work out the servings before you choose the size, then check that the filled flask is comfortable to carry.
Count the drinks, not just the people
If your usual serving is 200 ml, three servings need 600 ml and four need 800 ml. That is a capacity calculation, not a recommendation to fill right to the brim: follow the flask's filling instructions and leave the required space. A second stop needs its own allowance.

Keep suitable drinking water in the plan as well. Let an adult manage hot drinks and allow them to cool before handing cups to children.
